Mission

We at the Department of Pediatrics and Neonatology exist to heal with passion and care with compassion in the communities that we serve through excellence in Pediatrics, Neonatology and Adolescent patient care, teaching, research, and advocacy with Passion for : “Exceptional Care, without Exception” .

Services

• Out Patient Department with speciality clinics for Pediatric cardiology, Neurology, Respiratory,Endocrinology, Hematology,Neonatology (High risk and well baby clinic),Immunization, Post COVID-19 and In Patient Department (120 beds)
• Pediatric Intensive Care Unit- A 12 bedded Pediatric Intensive Care Unit with facilities like Ventilator, ECG, EEG, Defibrillator, bedside 2D Echocardiography etc.
• Neonatal Intensive Care Unit- LEVEL three- 59 bedded setup with state of the art facilities being provided free of cost for the sick newborns. We offer services like Therapeutic Hypothermia, HFO, Functional ECHO, OAE etc.
• Pediatric Thalassemia day care centre- Our center has about 150 children enrolled till the age of 12 years. Our center provides Transfusion and chelation services free of cost and through Government schemes like MJPJAY.
• Pediatric Neurology Services- Our center provides Pediatric EEG, Video EEG, BERA, EMG and NCV services to Pediatric Patients at subsidized cost.
• Pediatric Respiratory services- Includes Pulmonary function Tests and Impulse Oscillometry and Portable Spirometry for non-ambulant patient. Our center is the Nodal Center and center of excellence for the diagnosis and management of DS and DR, Pediatric Tuberculosis.
• Human Milk Bank- Established in 2013. Has pasteurizer, deep freezer, hot air oven and electronic breast pump with approximate collection of 2-3 L of donor human milk per day
• Telemedicine facility- linked to all DHS Centers in Maharashtra
