1. To produce trained medical graduates and experts who can handle medico-legal work in day-to-day practice
2. To inculcate highest values, ethics professionalism and scientific aptitude among various stake holders
3. To establish an institute of medico-legal services to provide all sort of medico-legal aids under one roof.

Mission

Services

1. Medico-legal post-mortem examinations.
2. Preservation of dead bodies in cold storage (Capacity: 100 bodies in walk in cold room and 38 bodies in cold cabinet fridge)
3. Embalming of dead bodies for preservation and transportation.
4. Medico-legal examination of victims and accused of sexual offence.
5. Examination of weapon.
6. Expert opinion in medicolegal cases.
7. Certification of age.
8. Certification of potency.
